We invite professionals from different sectors to submit abstracts for the Building Health Seminar programme. Abstracts may present research results, case studies, or innovative solutions that promote healthy and sustainable buildings.
Instructions for abstracts
A key part of the event is the Healthy and Sustainable Building Competition, which aims to highlight successful projects, good practices, and innovative solutions that promote healthy and sustainable buildings.
Competition categories
Proposals will be evaluated from both health and sustainability perspectives. The competition proposal should describe the features that support health and sustainability and present quantitative and/or qualitative results suitable for assessing them.
In each category with at least five submissions, the best proposal will receive a recognition award. All awardees will receive visibility through the seminar’s communication channels and partner networks. From among the recipients of the recognition awards, the jury will select the overall winner of the competition, who will receive a €5,000 cash prize. Second- and third-place entries will receive cash prizes of €1,000 and €500, respectively.
The competition can be entered by submitting an abstract to the seminar according to the instructions above. The competition will be held if there are at least ten participants.
The competition is made possible by the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT, Rakennusmestarien Foundation, and the Oulu Foundation for Construction Technology.
Participation fees:
Partners receive a 20% discount on these prices.
Two different partner packages are available, including a participant pass, a stand in the networking area, and/or visibility in marketing before, during, and after the seminar.
